Final Project - moms&tots.com (a parenting magazine)

Hi everyone!

Here's my final project, moms&tots.com ( an e-magazine dedicated to the cool new mom). I've had lots of fun working on this e-magazine and have real hopes to launch it (after many, many more revisions, and adding some real text).

This class has been a challenging experience for me but nonetheless lots of fun!

I look forward to seeing everyone's project tomorrow!

Class 7 and Class 8 Assignments

Hi all,

We are definitely getting into some complex territory. Class 7 assignment was pretty difficult considering I wasn't in class... (sorry!) Thanks to Amos for going over the assignment last Saturday! I was still confused after class but I've spent some time going over the homework and have worked it out on my own. Completing Class 8 assignment helped to clarify a lot of questions. I now understand the big picture, but need to get better acquainted with all the steps.

I'm still having minor issues with the text behind the product images... , but overall I think I got the hang of PHP. CSS coding is also becoming simpler.

Class 5 Assignment

Hello!

Hope everyone is having a great week.

I'm so relieved that I've (somehow) figured this one out. I'm sure there's a simpler way of completing this assignment. .. but I've tried my hardest to compete it. I think it looks pretty good, although I could always make it look better.

My one question is that my code is producing two lines of text (one on top of the other) behind my images. If anyone knows how I can fix it, pls let me know.

Class 2 Homework - Arist Homepage Wireframe

This was pretty challenging ... took me a while to figure out but I managed to get it, just not all of it. The advanced frame gave me some trouble, and I have questions re. images and placing the image boxes on top of one another. I'm sure I overworked the coding. I look forward to learning how to effectively use style sheets.

Tomorrow's class should be interesting.
